Singaporean Karen Officially Recognized as First Asian With White Privilege

NEW YORK – The International Association for People With White Privilege and Generalized Toxic Behavior Disorder has awarded its highest-order Merit of Distinction Outside of Nominal Racial Categorizations to a mid-level Singaporean-Chinese apparatchik with a barely functioning ability to operate in an office setting while constantly gaslighting her colleagues and also randomly shouting at any authority figures and perceived flunky subordinates within earshot at the government-run Singapore Economic Development Council.

The White Privilege group said that Lynn Lee, the vice president of brand marketing and unidirectional communications, a job she inherited through her Singaporean ba-ba, who had previously held the position as a familial sinecure from 1948 through 2022, had shown “all the swagger and characteristics usually associated with a Privileged White Person, plus the tons of negative energy and exhausting entitlement connected with her fancy Singaporean-Chinese birthright. Together, they took Ms. Lee to a level of White Privilege that even White people could never hope to achieve.”

The White Privilege group added that although they had not intended to target an Asian Karen in particular for their latest award, Ms. Lee’s name had come up so often during its nomination process that the decision to pick a non-white Karen was such a no-brainer the group would now consider adding a separate category to its White Privilege pantheon and include all such Karens for future awards consideration, be they Japanese, Chinese, Australian-Chinese-Japanese, Vietnamese, Burmese, Korean, Thai or Indonesian.

Ms. Lee, whose official job description at the Singapore Economic Development Council lies somewhere in between “benign neglect of accomplishing any work whatsoever” to “gossip time at the kitchen of Bahrakath Mutton Soup King” in Singapore’s toney Four Floors of Whores District, was also cited for “Extreme White Privilege Add-ons” due to the use of her enabler subordinates Nutella Singh and Ghenghis Dong to help her fan the flames of her gaslighting maneuvers within the office setting of the SEDC.

“This brilliant use of bringing on what are normally culturally dispossessed DEI hires to function as a bulwark for her interminable status-seeking behavior was the icing on the cake for Ms. Lee when it came to picking out a White Privilege Winner, Asia Edition,” the White Privilege group said. “The unseen, unconscious advantages that have clearly taken hold in Comandante Lee should be used as the paradigm for what we look for in all people at the highest levels of non-color in the future, especially Asians.”
